The award happens five times a year and the winners automatically compete for the Golden Lens award, the 20 most awarded photographers until the penultimate round of the year will be nominated for the Golden Lens grand prize in 3 categories, photographer of the year, revelation of the year, best collection of the year and the 3 most awarded photographers of the year receive the Golden Lens award
By submitting your photos to this official Inspiration Photographers competition, you agree and affirm that you have read all the rules and cannot affirm ignorance about any irregularity according to this regulation.

Failure to comply with any of the rules contained in these regulations will result in disqualification of the photograph in question and loss of nominations and awards related to this award, and in case of recurrence, may also be excluded from the directory temporarily or indefinitely.

This competition reflects a wide range of contemporary portraits made around the world today.
For this award, we want to discover and celebrate innovative approaches to portraits alongside impressive traditional works.
From peculiar self-portraits to creative portraits of family, friends, groups, weddings, street photography, classic studio portraits, environmental portraits, etc…
Portrait photography under the terms of this contest implies and that the photograph must have one or more people, or even only part of a person.
The images may have been taken in any year, digital or film.
You cannot enter photos with double exposure made in the camera or in (post) production, montages, add or remove elements of an image, photos made in workshops.
All photographers compete for the annual Goden Lens award, in the categories of:
Photographer of the year (Veterans compete in this category, or those who have already been nominated for the revelation of the year category in previous years)
Revelation photographer of the year (Photographers who are in their first year at Inspiration, or who have never competed in this category, compete for this category.
Portrait collection of the year (All collections that receive the maximum score (10) in any round of the Best portrait Collection Awards during the year compete for this category)
Most awarded of the year (Receive the Golden Lens Awards trophy, the 3 most awarded of the year, until the last round)
Images may not contain logos, photographer’s name, borders, frames or any other type of decoration or identification of their author.
Image manipulation that changes the original direction of the image is not allowed.
Only small interventions in the image are allowed, such as small touches of cleaning, crops, colors, conventional treatment or creative processes.
It is mandatory to save the original file in high resolution, for at least one (1 ) year after submission to this contest, for possible originality analysis.
In case of doubtful photos the original files will be requested and will still go through a FORENSE analysis by pixels, edges, textures, surfaces, colors, tones, and metadata.
The curatorship, selection and choice will be made by Inspiration Photographers’ team of specialists.
Observing the look, sensitivity, message, creativity, photographic language, technique, history, originality and style of each photographer.
As the author of the uploaded images, you agree and allow all the uploaded images to be published on inspirationphotographers.com, and other social networks of the directory, other media and also in disclosures made by Inspiration Photographers, at any time.
As author and photographer, you agree and assume full responsibility for the content of the images sent here, exempting Inspiration Photographers from any claims presented by third parties.
You, the author and photographer, declare to have the authorization of all the people that are in the images sent to have your images published, and in case any person that is in images by you, ask for your images to be removed from our site, being them removed, the image will be disqualified.
The aim of this award organized and carried out by the Inspiration Photographers directory is to promote and value portrait photography and its authors at the highest international level.
